A view of the shadowed Campsies Hills from the path to '"The Whangie": the two small white dots just to left of centre are vehicles on the Glasgow to Drymen road.
The stile is there to help one negotiate a fence which has all but disappeared.

My thanks to all who commented on Walk This Way, and with special thanks to Fred {Badgerfred} for his User Award.

Ronnie.

Ah, a braw picture of the motherland.
Living in the South of England now, the "natives" don't get it when I say that I miss seeing hills, even a wee one like this! This is exactly what i'm missing.

A splendid shot, of a lovely part of the world.

Good capture Grin

Not much use as a stile anymore but an excellent piece of foreground interest, and with the tree on the left gives a frame to the view beyond. Lovely bit of landscaping, Ronnie.

Clive and I climbed Conic Hill a few yeas ago - the steps damned near killed me!!
