For those who asked, regarding the octopus as featured in my last upload, yes, I have tried it in the past - only baby octopus, and it was quite rubbery!
Just to prove that we did have some sunshine - quite a lot in fact! After taking Lynne and Garrath on the tour around the fish market, we crossed back over the Ponte di Rialto to the waterbus stop, and rather than travelling the more direct route to St Marks, went the opposite direction to take the 'scenic' route around the west side of the island and along the Canale della Giudecca on the south side.

Three cracking images Trev and you were a great tour guide. V2 has to be my favourite because it contains my favourite Venetian vehicle - the waterborne equivalent of the bin wagon!
Traditional Venice so well captured Trev. Lovely detail in the architecture.

Another wonderful set Trev. Especially taken with v3.
Wrt octopus - used to eat this when I was younger - and yes, it was sort of rubbery, but if fried just right became a bit crispy too - chicken is just as good ![]()

Love the three captures Trev, your process right up there with the best!

A lovely set, Trev. Good that you had some sun!
V3 for me today, I likew the way the buildings on either side of the canal provide a natural lead-in leading the eye to the dome and tower in the distance. A good allround comp.
