When walking along the canal one is treated to views of a lovely garden - admittedly it is the garden of the owners of the garden centre at Ashwood!! Hope you enjoy. J.

These gardens do look lovely with lots of different textures and colours in the planting and with the canal side location a beautiful spot to visit and capture.

Lovely mixture of contrasting colours, with each photo showing such varieties. Ashwood marina, the canal walk and the garden centre - a favourite haunt.

I know this walk intimately, Joan - we often park at Ashwood, turn right out of their car park, past Ashwood Pumping Station, right down the lane to Gothersley Lock, onto the canal tow path, off the canal at the Navigation and back to Ashwood Nurseries.
That bridge, Flatheridge Bridge(No. 36), is one of my favourites - I always have to take a photo!! I uploaded a picture of it a while ago!
We live less than 2 miles away!!
Great to see a local image on EPZ - you've made my day!!

Richard

THe inclusion of the bridge is a master stroke or mistress stroke as the case may be. Super Joan.
