It feels like an age since i've uploaded something on here, but thought it was long overdue.

A lovely evening last Monday in the Peaks. This was on Over Owler tor looking back towards the gritstone outcrops 'Mother Cap' and the 'Beehive' with the ubiquitous carpet of purple heather. Not had a sunset like that in the Peaks for a while I can tell you.

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome.

The heather is almost fully out, looks great in the late evening light Smile

A wonderful moorland image warmed both by the low sun and the presence of the heather.....lovely shot with good f.g detail and interest.

Like the POV you've taken here Harsh. It's a grand place when the heather is out.

Super light Harsh and I really love the big sky and wide open landscape feeling to this image.
