A very quick grab shot taken after a slight diversion from my drive to a client's offices this morning.

Do let me know what you think if you have the time - thank you, Mike.

I think it's beautiful! I love the layers of light, and the sun just skimming the water/ice.

Unusual effect, has the look of painting on glass with light shining through.

"Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive".
(Wordsworth)

Definitely a must-take shot with huge elemental drama is in the light precisely over the Cook memorial. I might have been tempted to lose the bottom quarter or even more, but perhaps not. A Romantic image in the Wordsworthian sense, or perhaps even stronger - Sturm und Drang, maybe.

Regards
Bill
