Just a few flowers from the garden....was experimenting by hanging a black velvet cloth behind the flowers....oh, apart from the last one....that was a farm house next to Raglan Castle.
Thank you for all your comments, advice and votes for my previous upload.

Hi Necia ~ you have a great set of images here, V1 & 2 are simply stunning, such a clever idea to use black velvet for the back ground (I must go buy some lol
) V1 & 2, fantastic colours and detail and the composition is spot on, very well done indeed ![]()

LOL - thank you Hugh - just be aware with that velvet - it is terrible to work with and if in the sunshine it can become too shiny and grey in parts....and it flaming well slips all over the place....LOL
V1 & V2 for me because I love honeysuckle, it's so extravagant and luxurious for a wild flower. But V4 is special as the only image of lupins that I can remember being uploaded on the site! (And a real cottage garden feel).
Moira
The colours really stand out on the thumbnail.
Craig.
LOL I will never get this, but everyone seems to do it, versions for me a variations on the same subject.... but..
V1 - for me a little burnt out in the foreground, and looks a little dis-organised, maybe just me!!!)
V2 - I think better than V1 but still burnt out in the foreground, and as with V1 bloom is partly out the frame.
V3 - Very nice;
V4 - Nice image of a garden, but from a photographic view point there is no clear point of focus... maybe a closer crop and a different/lower view point would bring out the true beautiful of the Lupins.
Hope my comments were taken as intended ![]()

LOL ~ I'll try and stick to the rules....that is what I thought to, but then I saw people were doing this....so I did to.... ![]()

Probably not just you...I myself thought that and some of the 'flowers' are already missing. 'Burnt out' ~ I think someone already told me how and why this happens and how to solve it...I just can't remember....

Okay ~ someone needs to explain this 'out of the frame' stuff to me - not sure I understand what that means.

YAY!!! Thank you ![]()

Thanks - I cropped out a horrible fence down the bottom....and just wanted the cottage in the background [although not much of it in there], just wanted the cotage'y look. LOL.
Thanks David - I do appreciate all this.....as you have gathered I am a beginner and struggling to understand all the lingo etc. too and how to avoid things. I really appreciate you taking the time to point stuff out to me.
