Just playing with the light seeping through the windows at Castell Coch in the banquetting hall.

Thank you so much for all the cc's on my last upload. So wonderful to get a 'readers choice' on that.

~Necia~
p.s. Large is cool, if you have time.

V2 ~ cropped and speck of 'dust' removed. It was actually a bit of sunlight catching a piece of the woodwork. Thanks Woolbill's Smile

Very well seen and taken.
The window on the right 'explains' the picture, I think it would also be interesting with the 'explanation' cropped off - as an abstract.

This is so well seen, almost random splashes of light on the rich background. Superb colour and composition.

There is a tiny isolated highlight near the top, just left of centre, that I first took as dust on my screen; you might like to remove if printing the image. It doesn't detract from the quality of the image though!

Omg...SO well captured, Necia. I love this. THIS is what photography is about: grabbing the light and grabbing the moment.

A very, very nice image. Great composition, & fabulous exposure.

Just to be contrary, I like the window in V1, in fact I'd have been tempted to try & get more of it in, just to see how it works.

Great work, Necia.
I think I prefer V2 as a more abstract image.
Well done in seeing the possibilities in such a situation.
