Hi all, and firstly, thank you all SO much for your votes ,comments, interest and support on my Chinese New Year series, so very much appreciated.
And now, from something very Chinese, to something very English. Four shots of Rochester Cathedral from view points not usually taken advantage of. I hadn't intended taking pictures of the Cathedral when setting out for Rochester, but the stormy Sky and light made it a must.
Hope you enjoy these and other 'non people pic's', while I await the chance for more of them very soon ( I hope)

All the best to all,

John Smile

A very nice collection, well composed and presented... great to see some different PoV and perspectives.

I too like the variety on display: you have covered a lot of ground in four photos. V1 for the detail, V2 and V3 for the pov. The unusual subject-matter really makes V4 - those west-end towers with their peculiar pinnacles and imitation columns are worthy of an 18th-century folly!
Rochester is not a cathedral I know but your pics suggest it is really worth a visit.
Regards
Bill

P.S.: I leaned over the substantial parapet, but not very far, held the camera forward (pointing down) and guessed! But don't tell anyone Wink

These are wonderful. V1 is especially pleasing, the fascinating detailing in that stone work boggles the mind.

Great set documenting the Cathedral and I do like all the intricate detail in the stonework in V 1, John, and of the others, V 2 looking up at the spire is my next favourite.

My fave is V2 with the clock.
I told you I would be waiting for your people pics,

I thought you said you didn't have any more people pics, but there's definitely a person in V1, even if he is made of stone Smile V1 is my favourite of this set.
