Good Shooting Keith, I like the large ears of Corn in the shot fading towards the Mill, nice idea, and seeing this now...I am going to take my 14/42 lens down town...Chen.
Wow...Thanks everyone for the brill comments.
Conrad..thaks for using you award on this.
Angej..I have a portrait one which I might put on later.
Photospot...your spotted the Extra sky on No1..I did this because I though everyone would moan about a "blown out " sky.
Once again thanks a lot.

Quote: this was some O.K.light
You must be joking Keith! This is some trully superb light and the shot is excellent. Full mark too for the composition. I prefer the contrast of V1 but I think the sky in V2 was perfect and did not require any manipulation.
Guillaume
Superb colour and light. Into my favourites. V3 for me
Love the colours and detail in this photo. Excellent work, congrats on the EC.
Graham
Truly excellent, a well deserved EC. I think I'm heading towards V2 for the contrasting light and shade on the ears of wheat, but it's close...
Moira
#1, please. Simply a beauty.
Congratulations on the EC - richly deserved, and a little reward for all the work you put in to your photography.
Bill

p.s. Have a user award
W E L L...how do I start to respond to ALL the comments.
I am overwelmed.
First to barmymarny and again to Conrad for the AWARDS.
Next to all the people who offered congratulations on the E.C. (it won't happen again).
Then to THE EDITOR for the E.C....previously I had aspired to a H.C. and would have been over the moon for that so this is astounding.
Extra thanks to Sandrak for inspiring me to visit the place and all on epz for advice, critisism, and support since I have been on here.......AND I suppose to RobmacD for putting up with me the last few years.
Cheers, Keith.
Well done. A thoroughly well deserved EC for all the reasons mentioned.
Leigh

This is a superb shot. It reminds me of a still from a really well filmed advert for breakfast cereal, as the sun rises (start of the day/breakfast). I'm not mad honest. Version 1 my favourite.

Looked HDR to me but obviously I was wrong.Amazing! If only I had the original one. I would love to have it printed and hang it on my wall. Just an AMAZING image.Keep it up.Great pleasure to study your photos.
