Nicely panned shot. Maybe a slower shutter speed would have streaked the background a little more and would have made the tree less intrusive.

Hope these caravans don't hold up air traffic the same as their road cousins do!

Looking at the prop I would say you're down to at least 1/250 as it is. Any slower and this would have just been a mess. Nice shot. Rich.

Thanks for your comments. Had a look at my exif info & I was hand holding at 1/50 so I couldn't slow down any more without undue blurring of the plane. I guess the inbuilt steady-shot feature helped. These old planes don't really go that fast on take off, so I couldn't pan as fast as I would have liked to. Never mind, I enjoyed watching them!
