Been trying to capture small song birds in flight for the past couple of weeks with not much success, this is about the best one yet.
Any tips on capturing small birds in flight would be appreciated.

Excellent colours and clarity and the wing position is a featured achievement with just a little motion blurr which adds to the skill in your exposure.

This is really spot on, right down to the movement in the wing tips but pin sharp everywhere else. Superb. The only distraction I can see is the little black spot at the right third of the very top of the frame.
Excellent capture, timing, DOF and composition are spot on.
