...calm water where the loch meets the river. The sky was full of drama as the sun broke through and spotlighted the trees along Loch Lubnaig as it pours down into the River Leny.

Tranquil between showers Dougie, nature's interlude.

Spot on composition. Great rule of thirds implemented,

Like the square format for this Dougie, good foreground details and the light on the trees against that dark sky works well

The light is superb - and the darkening sky has enriched the colours below.

Just popped in today to see one or two images, your's included: such a well known spot for me here today, Dougie, as I always stop here on my way to see a retired partner in Comrie.
Heavy clouds over the Stank Glen in contrast to the sunlit trees and shallow waters......it's a great spot as the colours here change so dramatically over the course of the year.
Ronnie.

That crystal clear water makes you want to dive right in, but the sky says hold on, run for cover..
Beautiful image Dougie

I love to see the crisp greens of summer Dougie, and their colour reflected in the loch... with the deeper greens of the slopes in the background... makes a fabulous image
