I sat out beside our pond one day after work (still in my uniform!) because I saw the Chaser flying around. As well as photos of the chasers, I saw this case on the iris.

Trying out different depths of field.

The details you have caught are good, but I think your dof is a little too shallow.

V2 is MUCH better--- as this is a reportage image, Dof in V1 would work well with an artistic subject!
