Another photo from my first ever equestrian shoot. I realise the background is a little distracting but I had a wide aperture (f3.5) and ISO 1000.

You've certainly mastered the timing, very well caught again. Good viewpoint too. I like the mod although perhaps cropped a bit too close to the riders head. Not much much you could do about the BG in this shot, it's too close to blur even with the wide apeture. I'd be very pleased if if I'd taken this and your previous upload at my first attempt at the subject.
Good image well timed. I agree with Danh and Campervanman about the cropping. I've also loaded a mod, with square cropping to try and make more of the angle of the horse but means scarificing some of the space for the horse to jump into and blurred the background out quickly (a bit rough round the edges) to give you and idea of the difference it can make.
