But pleasures are like poppies spread:
you seize the flow'r, its bloom is shed;
Or like the snow falls in the river,
A moment white - then melts fr
o ever;
From "Tam O' Shanter" by Robert Burns.

Cherry Blossom is just like that too.
Hence my haste to take some images, but
alas yesterday's "Blossom Corner" didn't quite
make the grade. Many thanks for all the crititques.
Hopefully I've learned a lesson or two in not rushing
my photos and use my tripod and think more about
focussing and settings.
Another try with some Blossom shots.

A lovely image Kate. I like the contrast in colours between the stone pillars and the pink blooms.I know tripods can be awkward to carry but they can be useful. I got myself a TrekPod which is useful around cities

Love the blossoms Kate, lived in the apple country for a while years ago,beautiful, don't think much of your neighbour today, hardly ladylike.

Lovely comp in V1...

( I am far too lazy to drag a tripod around unless I have to!... I just turn the ASA up and breathe slowly)

Glad you like the pub, I promised I'd take you up on it Smile
