It's extremely difficult to take photos at Angkor Wat that haven't been seen a million times before. Because of that I like the young Buddhist monk's wonder while his older and more blase companions relax in the heat, a different slant on the more common, posed images. There's no selective colouring involved here - it's just the bright robes standing out against the stonework.

Thanks for looking and all comments, good or bad, welcome

Thanks Adrian and Elena

Adrian - agreed about the "nowt" - I learnt a lot whilst I was there a month or so back but the main thing I learnt was how little I know Smile

Cheers

A wonderful image and, as you say, a pleasing variant on the norm. The monks add a whole new context to the place.

Mike,
sorry I didn't say thanks for your comment but something strange seems to have happened to the dates so I'm not sure if your comment was after or before mine !
