Hey, people ![]()
Here’s me wishing all EPZers and EPZ a 2012 filled with new beginnings and warming light. And, of course, the best of health.
The old health problems reared its ugly head a while back which is why I haven’t uploaded for a while. Then soon enough it was the week before Christmas and there were just so many things to tend to. Speaking of which, a Merry (albeit belated) Christmas to everyone!
ChiliMan will be resuming normal service soon ![]()
I’ll visit your portfolios then.
In the meantime, off I go to christen my 2012 diary and write out detailed (but not too many) resolutions I intend to keep this time. A friend’s friend told her that if you give the resolution precision/detail, you are more likely to keep it. So I was thinking that instead of jotting down “Exercise More” (or in my case, ‘Start Exercising’), it would be better to say something like “Do 20 ab crunches before dinner”. For starters, anyway.
SO…along those lines, I’m gonna go construct a – hopefully watertight – resolution list. Wish me luck, people ![]()

wonderful b/w processing. perfect detail and a very artistic omposition.
Beautiful.
A merry Christmas to you! Enjoy you plants in cookery and garden!
An excellent leaf mono, Andrew, and nice to hear from you again. I have been wondering what happened to you and hope your health is improving now. That exercise regime will help. I've not even thought about any resolutions, I must be too perfect
.
Very best wishes to you Andrew - I've missed your cheery reports. Happy new year - and especially, a healthy one! Good luck with the dreaded resolutions..... (I haven't made any!) BTW - love this image and look forward to seeing more.
Ann
Love this, it's like a couple embracing.

That's good news, and much more positive than 20 ab crunches. Take care.

Always glad to hear from you, Andrew, and especially today ![]()
Some years ago I came up with an entirely new resolution, guaranteed infallible and offered unreservedly and free of charge:
Put simply: NEVER MAKE ANY RESOLUTIONS ![]()
Lovely b&w image here: the killer is the thin silver leaf-edge meandering down the frame on the opposing diagonal to the 'main' image. Fabulous!
Have a good 'un!
Regards
Bill
Some sound advice from Uncle Bill Andrew, Happy New Year to you my friend, good to see you uploading again, Ed
I sat and I stared, I went to 'View Large' and stared again.................welcome back Andrew, you definitely haven't lost your touch! Sorry to hear about the health problems - my New Years Resolution is to email you again soon!
Happy New Year my friend and take it easy on the 'ab crunches' !
Robin
A belated Merry Christmas Andrew, and may I and the family wish you and yours the best new year and I hope that your health issues improve. My resolution is not to make any!!
Carol
PS: lovely image!
Never have and never will make resolutions, sio can say in all honesty I've never broken mine..........20 ab crunches seems painfull to me, cause Iv'e never exercised either, see how easy it is to sail through life when you have no guilt thing to worry about
Sorry to see the health hasn't been so good again Andrew, hope the new year gives you a new start in better health, with or without any physical activity, best wishes!
Rgds., Jim
PS. Sorry Andrew, nearly forgot to say what a fine image you have here.
I love this beautiful image, Andrew. So glad to see you back with us. Good luck with those resolutions! Personally gave up this idea many years ago as I know I won't keep to them anyway.
No idea why your pf has vanished from my Favourites but have added you again. By the way, this image was the Featured E2 Photo just now.
