Not to be deterred by the overcast light and intermittent drizzle, MrsS & me spent a little time messing about on the shoreline of Loch Chon, I spent time trying out a few compositions that I was going to be happy with for sunrise the following day, hopefully with a lovely low lying mist on the surface ... needless to say we came back on a miserable, wet morning and didn't bother getting the cameras out. We never came back here after that as we were shown a much better location for dawn by Phil Wink

This shot is focus stacked to maximise front to back sharpness, though admittedly the single shot focusing on the fg reeds does look good in it's own right Grin V2 is a single shot @ f11!!!

Cheers for looking in, catch up later.

Paul

Nice.. Agreed about the fg reeds too, adds a nice little bit of interest - an improvement on the reflections in my opinion.

Barney

Cracking shot !....that 'focus-stacking' has created a tremendous depth to the image (& I don't mean water-depth !)....& with the lovely warm colours
makes a simple but beautiful scene !!!!

Both look great but for me it has to be v1 for the forground element to it, gives the eye something to follow in on.
Superb comp.
