Christmas White Rose

From a the same viewpoint as my shot of 46233, this is GWR Castle Class 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" passing Stenson Junction Derbyshire, 17th December 2011.
I have been going back and playing with this shot on and off since I took it; because it was processed within the camera to such a degree, (Panasonic DMC-FZ38), I have not been able to get it how I want it. Finally done an edit that I think suits the shot more. As much as I wanted to really bring out the colours of the loco and rolling stock, I think converting to black & white and teasing out details in this way has really achieved a much better effect. The original colour shot is positively flat in comparison.
