This picture was taken at Bandarbon, Bangladesh. This tribal village is located in one of the remote locations in Chittagong hill-tracts. As time progress modern facilities got introduced in the Tribal life. With the modern facility religion also got upgraded.

I like the way you have seen this, the 'pathway' leading towards the light, the shoes strewn along it, the scene through the doorway, the cross and the priest. You've composed for that little scene, which was the most important consideration, but it has affected the perspective of the overall composition. If you don't mind I'd like to skew and crop a little, to create a symmetrical view. Is that cheating? For me it's a way of achieving what your mind's eye saw...
Given the very high contrast in light and shadow you have got a good exposure. I don't know how much work you have done on this, I suspect that you have darkened highlights a little. Using Raw would give you a lot more scope for adjusting the light.
I really like this, it captures the moment. So I'm off to try a Mod.

Two Mods uploaded, see under the Modifications button below your image. Looking at them I think I have cropped too tightly.

Thanks Moira for the mod...

all my images are in 2:3 ratio ..... I think i have to get out of 2:3 ratio mind set.... Smile

I have another shot straight from the door but that don't show the cross... Skew is a good idea....

thanks for the review.....
