I presume it was a little breezy as some of the foreground flowers look as though they have moved. Love the image though, the two headlands beyond give depth to the shot.
Off to Cornwall in june, can't wait ![]()
Thanks, Martin and Gary.
Just a little breezy, Martin. The movement in the flowers was the primary reason why it's been sitting unprocessed in my files for some time. I decided in the end that there was a sufficient number of sharp flowers to try to do something with it. Not sure if it was the right decision, though. ![]()
You'll have an amazing time in Cornwall - will it be your first time?
'tis a beauty Ian, do you have a landscape version too? I reckon it would work even better..well possibly

Ian, wow, what can i say. This truely is a masterpiece bordering on genius, a simply breathtaking view that just goes to remind me, even with all the troubles this country has, why i love it as much as i do. Fantastic work

Many thanks, everyone, for your kind comments.
Hi Chris, I think May be the time to see the flowers at their best. I gather gorse is flourishing in April but I get the impression gorse flourishes at any time of year!! Having said that, it's been quite a mild winter, hasn't it....and so perhaps there may be something to see in late April.
Cornwall looking at its very best, a delightful capture indeed...
