This was taken yesterday from St Mary's chuchyard, next to the Abbey at Whitby. I seem to have done something spooky with the cross in Noiseware and the brightest parts of the sky are burnt out, but I still quite like it. The triangle of the cross, the streetlamp and the seagull intrigue me and I like the lighting.

Thanks for the comments everybody.
I doubt that I'll be able to take up the challenge Jules, living in Leeds. But maybe in PS???
Ben, I can appreciate your unease with the bird but it was there and it's typical of Whitby.
Ben, know what you mean about the steps. My daughter was taking the mickey as we went down, I nearly tripped half a dozen times. I think the steps are too narrow or something. This shot was actually taken at the top from the far side of the church.
Glad you like it Paul and Eric, I think that there may be more from this visit.
