...no ugly sisters but Scorr Ruahd is often in the shadow of Beinn Eigge & Liathach across the loch here.
Today the smallest of the three mountains is the backdrop for the reeds, caught in the winter sunlight shining over Loch Clair.

The reeds bleached nearly white... This is another image that shivers with cold.

Another fine landscape from the far north, Dougie, you again blessed with the light conditions for this one: beautiful clear blue sky reflected in the waters and the sun catching on the reed bed.......wonderful.
Looking at this I feel I am breathing in the cool clear air. Sights and experiences to cherish.

The patch of reeds could almost be a mirror image of the right bank of trees. The light is so beautiful.

They certainly are Ann, a very old forest this one it runs well into the estate to the left of the image.
