I like the colour version much more than I expected, but this has still got to be b&w. Lines and contrast without distraction. Very well composed - I like the way the straight lines are tethered to the arcs.

Like the straight lines and curves here, and I feel the B and W version carries a bit more impact, emphasising them that bit more.

Very interesting image, and the coloured version gives it another dimension in my opinion, that's the one for me.

Oh.. I really love this, John. I go for V1... I love shadows...Smile The curve and the lines are beautiful...very smart shot!
BTW, thank you very much for your MODs,John. I couldn't work out layers immediately, it will take me sometime, I'll be back later to have a look the detail of your layers' work.

I'm normally a fan of mono for shots like this but on this occasion I think the colour one works better - excellent!

People are always a bit romantic about mono, but in this case I really like the warm tones of the stonework in contrast with the dark shadow. For me it gives a much stronger sense of place and atmosphere.
