I like the colour version much more than I expected, but this has still got to be b&w. Lines and contrast without distraction. Very well composed - I like the way the straight lines are tethered to the arcs.

Two Beautiful and great capture,
Like the light/shadow in this one
mono for me for sure ... lovely
I really like the mono - great lines, shadows and curves
Like the straight lines and curves here, and I feel the B and W version carries a bit more impact, emphasising them that bit more.
Fantastic shot, great composition and I love the shadows, for me V1 just my favourite, but I do like both
I love the warmth of V.2, John, well spotted and captured. Carol
A very strong mono John.Nice tones to go with the interesting contents.
Lovely line and shadows. V1 for me. Paul
Graphic and abstract, great mono, John.
Prefer the mono version John,
Reall great impact in mono!
Both the versions are awesome
The mono emphasizes those great lines, and presents a classic geometric study.
Mono for me too.............Sandy
Mono for me this time
Excellent V1 John, strength in light !
Very interesting image, and the coloured version gives it another dimension in my opinion, that's the one for me.
A very well seen pattern image, John. Like both versions, but do think this works well in mono
Oh.. I really love this, John. I go for V1... I love shadows... The curve and the lines are beautiful...very smart shot!
BTW, thank you very much for your MODs,John. I couldn't work out layers immediately, it will take me sometime, I'll be back later to have a look the detail of your layers' work.
Thanks a lot
I'm normally a fan of mono for shots like this but on this occasion I think the colour one works better - excellent!

Great shadows, well spotted.. Peter
Beautifully captured patterns of light and shadow.
V1 works well for me john.
WONDERFUL IMAGES -GREAT SHADOWS.........
very nice, even in colour
beautiful use of shadows in your composition! i have a lot to learn from your photos.
People are always a bit romantic about mono, but in this case I really like the warm tones of the stonework in contrast with the dark shadow. For me it gives a much stronger sense of place and atmosphere.
