Good lighting, you have managed to capture the exposure well for such a difficult shot. Tracey

I recognized this shot as yours by the handling of light - beautiful, Mario!

This shaft of light falls in just the right spot, very near what is called the golden spiral. You have kept a lot of detail in the dark, and yet the light area isn't over exposed. This is difficult to do, and you have done this very well.

Quite a nice shot Mario, though theres no real focal point or point of interest to draw the eye at the end of the archway. A person walking perhaps might have made a difference.

As it is, I would suggest to crop a little off the right, sharpen a little more, - and a curves adjustment tones down the bright white area and also adds a little warmth as in the mod.

Regards

Willie

Quite a nice record shot, works for me with or without focal point. The only real comment is the very burnt out area, middle right, but it is small and yiou tend to get away with it for that reason.

It would have been difficult to correct without tripod and, dare I say it, HDR.

im late and its been said but i think the light and exposure are beautiful.

i would have liked the light at the top of the arch to be fully included and the box creeping into the edge of the alley way cloned or a step to the left in camera but otherwise a nice composition.

maybe its lacking that magical extra element that makes a nice image execptional but it is nice just for the light

I love these types of shots. You have captured it well in difficult lighting conditions. An interesting contrast between the 'golden' colours of the forground and the cooler 'blue' colour of the far end. A pleasant moment captured.
