hi, nice image and some good detail brought out in the shrine carving. im sure mono was the best choice.

i think backing off a little to include the whole of the carved detail top and bottom of the shrine would have given a stronger image with the inclusion of the additional space.

best regards
Phil

This has a lot of atmosphere, Mario, and you made good use of the available light. The detail and contrasts are good, but I can't help wanting to straighten the frame of the plaque, so I have done a modification using perspective correction. I then cropped to place the little box in the bottom left corner and eliminate some of the stonework. I used the dodge tool on the bottom of the plaque where there is a very black area, to bring out a little detail, and selectively sharpened the lamp, which was fairly soft. I added a vignette, which gives the impression that there isn't any more of a border around the plaque because I agree with Phil that it would have been good if you could have included more of it. I put back your frame and logo.
Pamela.

Mario, is the exif data correct, it says you used a 7.1 mm focal length? What lens did you use?

The info suggests this is a compact, not a DSLR? Good sharp image considering the shutter speed. Interesting. Mono works for this type of image.
