Well my first upload in a very long while...
A scene from the wonderful city of Bayeux, Lower Normandy, France.
Processed a single raw image 3 times at 0, -1.3 & +1.3 and passed through Photomatix. Then into PS3 to clear up the dust spots and add a touch of sharpening.
The exposure on the original was 1/250s @ f16 with RAW ISO of 400.
Time to put my feet up for another six months ![]()

Gary

I like the format and perspective, the natural feel, the flowers on the left, the fisherman on the right, it all comes together to make a beautiful image.

Hi All,
Thanks for you kind comments.
I'm still in the process of recovering loads of 'lost' shots so hopefully I'll have something else to post this week.
Thanks again,
Gary
Gary, you have capture the perspective of this shot perfectly and the composition is great. The whole picture is so well balanced. River leading you into the picture, central focal point with the dark bronze/red tree. Bright colours of the flowers contrasting against the brooding darkness of the sky. Points of interest on either side with the water wheel and the fisherman. There is so much to look at.
Excellent
Stuart
Lovely shot Gary.
Promise to take me with you next time and we'll drink a few red wines and a couple of calvados's, then possibly discuss why those red cars are so much better than the silver one's!
