From yesterday, again from car window. Bird is actually sitting on car mirror, around 0.5m from me in the carseat. Like bacground colour from the old Coca Cola truck.

Three versions. Which one you like more ?

I like the composition of #1. Somehow the blurred wing filling the left fits with the blur of the truck.

I think I would go for #2 - more context to the composition (although I think I would crop the pale strip behind the van). Clo

A lovely close up, how did you get it to perch on your wing mirror?!

To KarenFB. I was by McDonalds, birds there are used to being fed by drive - inners from car windows. Actually I did not have anything to offer him, but opening the window, the bird just thought I would have something for him... This was only shot I got this time, so I was rather lucky (or good ?). Smile

Version 1 is best, though it was a tough choice. Version 1 because it has the best abstractive feel.

Absolutely wonderful image; definitely #1 because of the beautiful composition, with the sharp sparrow face inbetween two unsharp planes, one through movement and one through focussing. If I could give it an RC by myself I would.

First crop is my fave. Nice abstract work. I guess the only difference between the 3 shots are the cropping?

Thanks for all comments. Yes, Keigo, they are just different crops of the same picture.

Just stumbled across this and I love it. Love the sharpness to the face and composition, #1 for me.
