The Black Tailed Godwit(limosa limosa) and the Lapwing(vanellu vanellus).
I was in one of the hides at the WWT Barnes recently when I spotted a Blacktailed Godwit out on the water. I was carefully trying to frame a shot in the viewfinder when out of the blue came a Lapwing to harrass the Godwit causing it to leap in the air.
With my fingers crossed I fired of a few shots and hoped for the best. It was not until I started to download the shots on my PC that I became aware of the lovely reflections of both birds. Pure luck but we all need a touch of that now and then.
I will be the first to admit that the shot leaves a bit to be desired on the photo. technique side but I thought you might like to see it.
Large view should be worthwhile.
The title layout will strike a chord with Peter_Oak !!
Thank you all so much for your attention to the Head Banger.

Super shot, Ron, love the reflectins and also the sharpness. You were in exactly the right place at the right time for this one! HDave :o)
Sorry I haven't been around much Ron.
A cracking if not unusual image, with super reflections. Nice work.

In moments like this I am happy that you joined e2 again, the large version only does really show the beauty of shots like this. The reflection is even more striking than the "reality". Fantastic luck on you Ron!
