A set of images all taken on Wednesday morning on Cleeve Hill and Common the highest point in the Cotswolds. It was bitterly cold and there were several inches of snow on the ground. Only two days later it was warm and spring like and the majority of the snow had melted. V1 shows one of the entrances to the masts field at Prestbury Hill nature reserve from Cleeve Common.

v2, 3, 4 and 5 are all my favourites Ed and I would certainly have uploaded them separately as I think they're worthy of individual showing. Lots of atmosphere in this set - great stuff! Smile

What a fine series, Ed. I think that what attracts me so much to these is that the trees don't have snow on them and therefore they stand proud of the snow, almost as silhouettes, with concentration on their shapes.
Vs 4 and 5 are my favourites, and deserve to be uploaded separately. V4 in particular is a lovely composition, and I like the lean of the tree on the right, with the little tree between the larger two. It's almost like the leaning one is trying to get the other one to huddle together with it and keep warmSmile. I think this image would also work well in a square format, with the left-hand tree cropped away.
