A straightforward title, and no legend or old wives' tale to go with it either
. Unless anyone knows different? The only one I have found is to "Put their heads in the sun and their feet in the shade", but this has been proved to be a myth.
This isn't mine, but my neighbour's clematis that trailed over my fence. I hope I have the name right.
As you all probably know, it's a vigorous climbing vine with small rosy pink flowers with yellow anthers and bronze-tinted foliage.
This flower series seems to be going on forever
!
Thankyou so much for your continued support, votes and comments, which I thoroughly enjoy.
Pamela.

Yes,I do know different Pamela.
It is named after the artist Rubens, who liked to paint well proportioned women.
He liked his models heads facing towards the sun,and their feet in the shade.
Everything in between did not matter what way it was facing,as long as he got it to fit into his canvas !!
Hope this helps.
Good shot.
Mick.
Very beautiful, and a super capture, Pamela, really stands out well against the dark background ![]()
