I bought this lovely Clivia from Tesco - reduced from 7.49 to 1.87. However, when I got home and checked the bill they had charged me full price. Took it back immediately and claimed the difference in price. However, it did fall over on to its side on one of the journeys so I am lucky to have been able to capture it at all! I have cropped some of the flowers on the right as it seemed to produce a better composition.

I am uploading another version, different presentation.

Amazing what a little changing of levels and frame will do. I like both, v1 is more dramatic, v2 is a bit more pleasing (for me).

That plant has had an adventurous life in your hands! Lovely shot, vibrant colour and beautiful composition using those dark stalks to good advantage.

A close shave. Moral of the story - take the picture before you go back, just in case.
Lovely flower, and well captured.
