Hi All - back to just being a member tonight - the power of the BIG BUTTON has passed on! Wink

We arrived at Higger Tor yesterday morning and were immediately enveloped in thick fog, so a quick U-turn and off up Curbar we went.

Despite our very own "Black Cloud" in the form of MrT, the sun did make a brief appearance, so we all grabbed it whilst we could. It became a tad more challenging after this Grin

Liked the light catching the grass and the heather, creating some super colour, even if only for a moment or two Smile

The title tonight is from a track on 30 Seconds to Mars' latest album, "This is War", since I kept getting closer and closer to the edge of the Edge (!), it seemed appropriate Smile

Thanks for calling in, have a great evening Smile

Cheers!
Fran x

This is a cracking image, Fran. The composition, light and that mist make for a magical scene. Excellent.

Very well composed shot, Fran. The detailed and interesting f.g contrasts nicely with the more misty and softer middle and backgrounds.

Lovely job Fran. Good colour in the sky, nice light on the FG, great mist action and the clump of heather works well.

As good a shot as you'll see from this location.
For a minute I thought you were paraphrasing a track by Yes (Close to the Edge) and you were going to work your way through their discography, having "done" Led Zeppelin
