What I like about this is the effort and force that has gone into making sure that this bolt will never be drawn again. There are two nails jamming it, plus a nut and bolt (which has a washer for some reason) and to top it all, the handle to draw the bolt has also been twisted out of shape so that it can never move again. Nevertheless, somebody has had a go at levering the entire thing off the door.

Keith
I would like to comment your photos, but I cant. They are from a different world and I do not have the insight to value them correctly.
But I cant se that you can take sharp photos.
Thanks Duncan (loses a lot in bw), John, Jim, Ann, Peter, Keith, Jens and Nigel. ![]()
Yes, Nigel, that was the irony of it. The whole of the building behind this door has in fact been demolished. ![]()
You certainly have an 'eye' for these kind of things Eric, great lighting, composition and textures.
David
You have a real knack for this type of photography Eric and a nice story behind this one. Great shot.
Derek
Thanks David, Derek, Malcolm, Geoff and Tony, glad you all like it. ![]()
Thank you Jen. Just a sea of bricks where the building used to be, I'm afraid. ![]()
Great observation, makes one wonder what lies behind the lock.
