Having great fun with the Infrared modified Pentax Ist D. This one doesn't really show any signs of infrared but it does show how sharp the camera becomes once the filter is removed from the sensor. I'm in the process of writing an article about the camera modification so will show more realistic infrared pics with this when I upload it next week.
This is a rag in the edge of the road near Tinsley viaduct.

Love the textures you've captured here the dryness of the cracked earth contrasts well with the fabric - fab tones
Enjoy your long weekend!

I think this is really a good shot, my favorite part is the deep cracks in the front of the image. exceptional detail when viewed larger, makes a very nice abstract.

I'm kicking around the idea of getting my old 300D converted.

If it's a as good as the Pentax ist D conversion you won't regret it! I'm building up a great collection of infrared shots now and without all the hassel that IR normally brings.

Lovely textures and layer tones, the IR conversion sounds really interesting.

Looking forward to reading more about this Pete - I've also been thinking of giving my old 300D a new lease of life.

This is quite striking, the mix of the detail, textures, shapes and tones is so extremely well put together, love this.
And love the mod too =)
