it's an island off the ayrshire coast, it was a volcano.
this is where you get most of your curling stones from.
it is now a bird santuary. hope this answers your question Dave.

Yes thanks, John. Hope it's a big island, if the keep taking pieces out of it, or it's just going to vanish. Then future photographers won't have a dome to silhouette. Smile
