As it was warm and sunny yesterday we decided to nip up to the lakes and catch some afternoon light at Blea Tarn. When we got there it was blowing a gale overcast and evryone was wearing fleeces. So this was one of the results and at least I got to try out the new toys.

Lovely tones, and the weather has nothing to do with the excellent composition.

I never tire of images from the Lakes and this must be a favourite spot for so many, and easy to see why from this well composed and balanced landscape from Blea Tarn.
Love the warm tones throughout which suggest a hot balmy day rather than bowling a gale.
