Thank you all for your comments and votes yesterday on my Grandson Joshua, last night was a club competition where we had to put in four entries! Two print and two digital. I was very pleased that in the print section V1 the fox had a top 20 points and was the winner and V2 the Harvest Mouse had second place with 19 points, v3 and v4 were in the digital section. the Tiger scored 17 points and the needle scored 16 points all out of 20 points, so very pleased with the overall result, there were two trophies one for digital and won for prints, for anyone entering competitions! Animal Bird and insect photography does very well, landscapes for some reason are out of fashion.

You'll be getting banned as too good!
Many congratulations Trev on all four successes.
I know that feeling - it even happens to me occasionally!
We had an inter club match this week,
but our club was beaten. There were lots of wildlife images
mainly birds. My Santorini Belltower got a 17 so I was pleased about that.
Glad to know you're venturing out and sorry you've given up judging
but I expect it's a relief too. A lot of work for no monetary gain.

Super images Trev, like them all, congratulations on your result, well done,
Fred.
I never go near a photographic club so would have no idea what the judges are seeking, but with your experience both in the field and as a competition judge you were well placed
I never go near a photographic club so this experience is quite interesting to hear about, Trev: many congratulations on your success all round, and from the images shown here so well deserved.
Ronnie.
There are no photographic clubs near me at all but it sounds fun. It's a great image of the fox, nicely framed by foliage and very sharp; I'm not surprised it scored top marks. The harvest mouse is excellent too and both display great fieldcraft in order to get so close and wait for the right moment!
A fine set from which V1 is my favourite, a very fine fox portrait. Well done for your success at the club. Like Ronnie I never go near a photographic club.
Was well worth you coming all the way here for the day at BWC Trev,
as you certainly got some brilliant images as these two are testimony..congrats to you very well done and deserving
Love the fox, brilliant shot and cannot wait now as going back next week, maybe try to get one of this standard!

v1 is a winner in my book too, but 'no landscapes'. Won't be joining that club then!! ![]()
