Spectacular!

However, while the picture doesn't lack contrast really, it looks as if it does... Is Chicargo actually a grey place, like Birmingham (UK, of course) on a rainy December Saturday? or does it sparkle a bit?

Hi Dudler it was actually heavily overcast running into crazy storms for a couple of days. Chicago is not normally a grey place, one of my fav cities.
