This image of Cobham Church was captured a little while ago now whilst out and about with my Support Worker. Cobham has many connections with Charles Dickens, so much so that the curate actually asked me for £15.00 before I had a chance to press the shutter.
I had a lovely day out yesterday, my Turkish haircut and shave was brilliant so much so that I came out feeling and looking 3 weeks younger.
I hope that you all have a great day ahead we are forecasted 18 hours of snow. Julie's school will be closing at 12:30 in order that staff can get home. "This never happened when I was teaching?"
Take care and keep warm
Regards Nathan

One of my favourite places in Kent. i struggled to get the picture I really wanted at this church.. youve captured it perfectly.
3 weeks younger .... mmmm
and also when a teacher I never went home early ...
gosh havent times changed
Gorgeous image well worth the £15 but fancy that! Bit of a shock to be approached by the curate asking for money even though the church is steeped in history, I have never heard of this before and certainly has never happened to me, I have photographed many churches, must have picked the cheap ones
well done Nathan
Superb image Nathan, excellent composition and light, I'll make no comment about the curate asking for £15 :-(

£15.00 is outrageous Nathan, all the Cathedrals I have photographed only ask for a donation, the most being £5.00 and they ask why people are stopping going to church, any way mate a stunner of a photograph and the processing superb, glad you enjoyed your haircut and shave, had the same done in London some years ago and I came out £25.00 lighter.
Regards
Trev.
Lovely lead in and beautifully processed, Nathan. The Burmese Temples were free to enter but charged for photos... they learn quickly.

A lovely atmospheric shot and a beautiful church. Very nice Nathan,
Can't beat a good church photo, our only "free" link to history.

£15 just to take a photo! I'd have politely told him to go away, and sneaked a shot when he wasn't looking!
It's a very lovely old church though, and nicely captured, Nathan ![]()

Well composed. WesternRed.
Absolutely love this image - English History is fascinating but alas where is Robin Hood with his bow and arrow when you need him ?
Sending healthy blessings your way ![]()

I love the way you have processed this image, the colours are great. I don't think I would have paid though.
