Hi,
I just wanted to say that this shot really caught my eye, I think it is the unusual pose and angle that make it really stand out.

If I could make one point (based on what I like rather than my photography skills!) There is something about this image that bothers me when I study it... and I think I have pinned it down to the bench. Because of the slope it seems to push you away from the model and out of the frame. I tried rotating slightly and cropping the left side so that the model was off centre and looking into space. Although I ended up with a very square format, I think it worked.

I hope you are not offended by my comment, and it is still a great image
Peter

PS. wonderful portfolio!

@p12owe Hello Peter
Thanks for the comments. I am totally not offended. You know others always tend to see things we don't see and that can bring an entirely new perspective to what we do as creative people.

That kind of crop could work too actually though squares remind me of instagram lol

I guess I was trying to go for mystic winter of loneliness - reasons why the model looks cold yet not dressed much (except the fur hat and boots), the colorful garden with a beam of light at the left, slight shadow on her face to add more darkness to the concept and the off side bench space to carry loneliness. I think this was what we were going for.

But thanks for your comments. It makes me think of new possibilities! Great stuff mate

As above - super compelling shot. I'm glad i've discovered your portfolio - very nice.
If i can suggest one thing too its the flash's nose shadow, but everything else is great.

Thanks @JackAllTog
Critique is much appreciated.
Yeah the angles of light that day made shadows awfully hard to remove. I guess I'm still learning how to work out these things

Thank you once again mate
