Excellent photo Rende, I really like the way you have done this shot, a nice gentle curve to the left, the houses in the background, with the masts rising above the roof tops, very well processed and presented, regards Leon.

Beautifully composed. The obvious cold of the frozen waterway is pleasantly offset by the warmth of the brick fašades, the ensemble elegant and restrained.
Groningen must be worth a visit.

Bill

That really does look cold, Rende!
It really is a beautiful image, such lovely buildings and sailing boats/ships.
I notice a hardy cyclist is managing to get some exercise and stay upright in icy conditions!!Smile

Your chosen point of view really allows you to grab as much detail in this superb icy composition as possible.

Brilliant.

Lovely depth and perspective, Rende. Beautifully composed with that foreground interest, and the white balanced by the colourful buildings. It certainly has the chill factor.

OK, so you can do snow and ice better than we can in the UK. Grin Top shot.

I thought this must be one of yours. You certainly get colder weather in the Netherlands than we do here. Nice comp and subtle colours.
