The infamous Colmers Hill at Symondsbury, Dorset - infamous 'cos I've seen more photos of this than I've had hot dinners but you just have to take one yourself.
Colmer's Hill, which overlooks Symondsbury, although only 400 feet above sea level, can be seen from many locations and dominates the landscape around Bridport. It was named after the Rev. John Colmer, Rector 1805-6. The trees were planted on the top of the hill around WWI.
