One of the very few Comma butterflies I managed to capture in the Summer of this year. Tatty, but still worth an upload I think?
Hedgehog Update
Very quiet in the garden last night, probably due to the awful weather we've been having in the West Country over the last few days, however, Hodgepodge our hero, still made one or two brief appearances at the Feed Station during the night, he's braver than me. Fox activity again was very quiet with nothing happening at all until 05:00 this morning, again I think the bad weather played it part. Never mind the cameras are currently pointing at the bird tables and will be till this evening when I switch them over to cover the garden, the place to go as always is Ade's Hedgehog & Garden Wildlife Cams
Special thanks to Maiwand's & Silverzone's very generous User Awards on my last post of a December Moth and thanks to everyone else for their kind votes and for stopping by. Hope everyone has a good day....Ade

That's the Tamron's 90mm sweet spot Annette......It's one of the reasons I like this lens so much over the Canon's 100mm and the Sigma's 105mm, the only downside with it being it's a little shorter than those, but that's probably the reason it works better at f8. I've access to all three lenses, but it's rare for the Tamron to be off the cameras, it might be old, noisy and clunky, but it just works ![]()

A fine shot of this faded weatherbeaten butterfly, its definitely seen better days
