...sunshine, ice & frosty powdery snow, what more can you ask for? Maybe a coffee stall nearby?

There's not much stoor (dust) on your boots my friend.
Superb Dougie, love those reflections in the patch of water.
Darren.
A beautiful expression of physical coldness.
Quote: despite the weather forecast
We were promised a few showers this morning to be replaced by sunshine this afternoon. It snowed all morning and froze over this afternoon....................
Regards
Bill
Beautiful image Dougie. The bright blue perfectly conveys the cold. I really like the way that the snow covered bank cuts through the image at the bottom as well.

A beauty Doug, lovelyy light and clarity. My mates are on the way up to your part of the world this weekend and I hope the conditions are kind to them.Would be great if it was like this.
Tom.
Morning Tom, I think it will be, this was taken yesterday Tues 2nd Feb.
Stunning composition and large really is a nust. The clarity in the image is amazing.....from the blues tones to those green pines - a masterclass. When I return Loch Tulla will be my 1st and last stopping place methinks.
Many thanks Alan for your comments as you walked through the last few images on Rannoch Moor. I spend a lot of time here and know where to lookm the unexpected has to be grasped, but that's years of working in newspaper photography, the image may only exist for a blink.
All the best
Dougie
