This is GREAT.
There used to be a chap on EPZ that did lots of these. I never tire of them.
I like the light and comp/perspective that you've chosen to go with the light painting. If it was a slightly longer exposure would you lose the blur of your outline behind the figure? I hope you've got some more of these to post, they're really cool.
thanks Sara, I need to get more clever at these as they are not that easy to do
thanks John
Hi Ken, no it was too long I think I didnt have my remote as it had broken so used a 30 min timed exposure. I needed to stand still to get the shape right otherwise I would have been moving more swiftly and you wouldn't have seen me, hey ho ![]()
Diana
30 min!?? Wow. Wouldn't have guessed. Would love to know how to do these if you can send me the recipe ![]()
wow morning all, thanks very much
Quote: Great idea but lose the RHS, it adds nothing to the image.

errr spot the late at night shadow, not that easy to achieve in the dark with no sun to create a shadow so it has to stay.....
but thanks anyway
Quote: That's a fun groove to be in
Mrs WB thanks, at least I'm in a groove at the moment, hey?
Diana
This is a stunning image, the emotion that is coming from a light man is truly remarkable, the shadows and the space on the side makes him look so alone, i really feel for him....
If this doesnt say Dianna's got her groove back than nothing will.
FABULOUS
aww wow, thanks so very much everyone for your kind comments and clix

thats how it was feeling for me .... I should have drawn a skirt on 'him' ha ha
how hard would that be?
..maybe I'm moving back into a groove now
with your support of course
thanx so much
Diana
I love this, I saw one earlier on the Internet of a figure sitting in a car. Fantastic work.
oh my thats fantastic, will have a go but i very much doubt it will be of this standard!! ![]()
thanks for your message!
thanks for the other clicks on this, really appreciated
RW, its becomes easier once you have had a few practices, you just have to remember where you started from to knit the thing together, I have a technique inside my eye that allows me to do that, bit hard to explain, I dont always get it right and can only do little stick people, and orbs...there are painters who can achieve much more than this (and compared to other light painters this is not that good really)
your welcome re the message and have fun playing ![]()
