Very striking indeed.

I'm not utterly convinced that the very central composition works with such low light levels in most of the image: it fits well with the calm and assured pose, but maybe needs a smidgen of detail in the shadows.

And it is an outstanding portrait, in any case.

Thanks all for the comments. They are highly appreciated.
@Dudler.. I had tried with some detail in the shadowns, but felt that it became less dramatic when they were there. I agree with the centralization but also agree with the overall serenity working.. but think I will fool around a bit more with placement/alternative cropping. Cheers Smile
