So worth the wait........I have empathy and understanding on everything here....wether it is as you intended it to come across or not ....hey ho...been here a lot of late and as a true artist should be able to show your feelings through your work and they are are bared to the bones in thisand you sure know how to convey emotion.
Because of our chats wether anyone else will read into it is up in the air...so on a purley visual level it is in my view anyway perfect -the building is likea block of 50's flats we used to have in Slough..only these have as you say a church like structure and a type religious cathloic golden glow on the balconies...picked up on the sand in the indentations, the bird is either in sympathy and listening or waiting to pick what is left on the bones....with you it may not be the sympathy angle,
Love the building..on your island?......anyway what matters is this was worth the wait.......and nobody can take talent away..it is yours whenever you want to use it......pain and love produce incredible work at times....guess your due the better of the two soon my freind.....MOlls.
Oh wow Dave - I can read into it what I can read it into it - I might be completely wrong so will not say. But it is a beautiful cathedral of emotions and thoughts.
The colour and the light is so impressive and the comp, well, what can I say........truly wonderful. xxxx
They managed to escape from It, only to find it was no better...the grass that seemed greener was turned to sand by the time they started seeing and not merely looking.

I can almost feel his pain poor bugger ... if you're not careful you'll be as miserable as me soon Dave.
I loved that building last time you used it and still do. Just thinking that the "guys" legs need a hint of shadow to anchor him down into that sandscape though.

ooow ere
listen up listen up
there's a devil in the church.
now then what all this about ?
he is a heavy skeleton judging by the foot prints
looks like Armageddon to me,
it has an eerie quality about it that is very unsettling
i will return and hope some clever clogs explains the unexplainable later

Well , this is blowin a cold breeze lol.
Ta all for lookin , bloody music link got nulled again , so this is musak.
And real thanks Mrs Funky and Molls ![]()
mmm , see what you think about the anchoring Mr U , in all the glory of the claustrophobia and trying to get the scale right , the shuffling legs didn't cast a shadow (well thats my excuse)
Ill whack up a variant later , its part of the jigsaw..
Have been missing your vision Dave - marvellous comeback imagery.

Love the building, looks like something from 1930`s Berlin ![]()
Its feckin perfict....
All you gotta do is watch the news and THINK!!!
Blinkers are optional in this life!
Love the work you've done on V1, and the concept. Brilliant!

I have to agree with DaveU re the shadow - the sand could do with some shading at the top near the building to blend with the light at the bottom of the building.
I went to #2, seeing if you put up a mod to Dave's suggestion. Now that's something else, give it a proper airing that's just brilliant, oppression, symbolism its quite a statement. Much better than #1 IMHO
Wow, what a really powerful mix of the modern and the desolate. Inspirational and amazing.
