A Long-tailed tit Aegithalos caudatus, is this evening's selection from The Coppice.
Off up there shortly, to top up the feeders. At least the evenings, are beginning to remain a tad lighter at last
Back in a quandary about the light again - don't really know what to do - perhaps better left well alone and see if there is the possibility to implement some of Mossy's ideas - will PM you later mate
Tripod & cable release used
An excellent shot and very cute pose. Like a little skunk stripe down his head............Sandy
Beautiful capture Adrian, looks perfect to me and i can't find any halo's either lol
Great image & detail, nice one !
The light looks great to me, a really fine image, lovely detail on his back. Ann
Beautiful little poser, Adrian, still not ventured out of the front door Carol
Amazes me how you get these shots so sharp. Everytime i try the little varmints move too quickly, maybe i am getting too old
Great shot Adrian
Beautifully captured Adrian, lovely detail and pose.
A fantastic shot.
Just love these little " uns ", and you've bagged a beauty here Adrian.
A delightful image Adie, this little fellow looks as though he is deep in thought
There's been a few really good LTT shots uploaded today, this is one of the better ones Ade....
Great shot Adrian. Wonderful detail and I just love that perch.
Lovely shot, Adrian.
The detail on the bird is superb Ade. You will always get a slight shadow in shade areas unless the perch is light and reflects a little light back. Remember nature, nature, nature.....not studio. You get one chance normally a split second and cannot get th emodel to turn this way and that and have an assistant holding reflectors.
Light and shade gives the shape and depth to the bird and like this with exceptional feather detail works so well.
Still not sure about th ebg.
If you struggle get a sheet of MDF and let it weather naturally. I have some in my garden thats covered in grime and moss and the tones on it change all the time depending on light.
Love the way it seems to be looking at you, great GB and detail,
Excellent shot, lighting looks fine here, particularly like the composition of the high perch.
Breathtaking. I dream of being able to take shots like this. My hat off to you.
Superb shot Adrian, light looks good to me.
Another amazing shot Adrian. As Richard says above; light and shade is what helps to give the subject some form and shape
Excellent capture Adrian.
You're one up on me, Adrian, having managed a catch of light in the eye
Fine shot from you as ever.
I would be so pleased to get a shot like this Adrian
Typical pose captured Ade.
Plenty about at the moment, the cold weather brings em in for the food
A superb capture Adrian - I have very green eyes looking at this image Carole
A perfect little beauty, as far as I can see!
