Corfe Castle stands around eight miles from where I live.
Corfe was a Royalist stronghold laid sige to by Cromwells Parliamentarian forces..the results of the siege are what you see today.
Corfe castle is an impressive backdrop as you enter into the village of Corfe itself..jaw dropping really!!

Thanks Steve..the sky is different to the original..and is actually unconverted & still in colour..just a stormy one.
